Bio
I started cutting on a borrowed laptop and never stopped.
I'm Debby, the editor behind CHEFdebby.
My journey into video editing began with curiosity and a desire to create something meaningful. Through serving on my church's media team, I gained practical experience, learned from others, and developed a deeper interest in visual storytelling. I've also had the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, serving as a media team lead and as deputy lead for an event. Today, I'm continuing to grow my skills in DaVinci Resolve and CapCut, exploring editing techniques, color grading, pacing, titles, and transitions. I believe every video has a story to tell and my goal is to make that story clear, engaging, and memorable. I'm still learning, still building my portfolio, one project at a time.

Two rounds of timestamped feedback through Frame.io. Music, sound and pacing settled before colour.

Grade, mix, titles, captions and versioning. Delivered in named folders with masters, cutdowns and archive.
